Hyph11E is producer at the forefront of a new generation Chinese club music. Releasing her debut Vanishing Cinema EP via Shanghai label SVBKVLT in 2017, her bass-heavy music boasts dark, formidable sound design arranged into hard-hitting club rhythms. The record featured remixes from Tzusing, M.E.S.H. and Kid Antoine and is an exciting signal of the emerging, vibrant Shanghai scene.

More recently, Hyph11E released an eight-minute experimental track on Country Music, while Tzusing’s remix of her track “Black Pepper” was picked up by Kode9 and Burial for their Fabriclive 100 mix. She has also been featured in i-D , FACT, Dazed, Japan Times and AQNB, and performed at Berlin’s Panorama Bar for CTM Festival, London’s Corsica Studios, Tokyo’s WWW and Sonar Hong Kong.
