Alpha Maid (aka Leisha Thomas) is a multi instrumentalist and producer who crafts truly unique compositions of lo-fi punk, grunge and glitchy electronics. Also a member of CURL collective, featuring Mica Levi, Coby Sey and Brother May, among others, she creates big tracks in the underground scene. Her debut EP Spy was written over the course of several years, as a way for Alpha Maid to channel and to make sense of the tensions and social anxieties she deals with on a daily basis. Existing as a band before thomas wrote this record, the moniker has come to represent who she is and the environment that surrounds her.
