Shaun Motsi

Shaun Motsi is a Zimbabwe-born Canadian artist completing a Meisterschüler at Frankfurt am Main’s Städelschule. Using installation, painting and sculpture, he looks specifically at the politics of language and narrativity, and how worlds and identities are both constructed from and through language.

Currently living and working between Berlin and Frankfurt, Shaun's past solo and group exhibitions have taken place at PS120, Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler, After the Butcher, Center, Ashley and PSM-Gallery in Berlin; Page-NYC, Dresden’s STORE Contemporary, 8Eleven in Toronto and TOVES, Copenhagen.
