Celeste Burlina is an Italian set designer, doctor in engineering, multidisciplinary researcher and writer. Her work focuses on the connection between people and structures, with a particular focus on the dramaturgy surrounding them. As an independent scenographer, Burlina works with institutions such as Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong and Kunsthalle Münster in Aachen. She previously worked at the design and architecture studio called sub, where she completed projects for Balenciaga, as well as Tate Modern in London, Schinkel Pavillon in Berlin and Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Burlina also provides her services to artists, designers, galleries and entrepreneurs as a consultant and designer.
