Claudia Pages

Claudia Pagés works primarily in written form, publishing it through printed matter, installations and sonic readings, where she has generated a specific language relating to talking, orality and talkable text. The focus of her research and interests has been on language, and forms of contemporary distribution and circulation where labor and biopolitics are interlaced, working on living labour and its performative aspects, as well as dead labour in relation to circulation.

Pagès has exhibited in institutions such as La Capella de Sant Roc, Valls, Paris Internationale, and P/////AKT, Amsterdam, among others. Recent readings and performances took place at MACBA in Barcelona, London’s Gasworks, Sharjah Art Foundation, Moderna Museet in Stockholm and more, while residency participation includes ones at Bulegoa in Bilbao, Trento’s Live Works, Centrale Fies, and Ca2M and La Casa Encendida in Madrid, among others.
