Tarek Lakhrissi

Tarek Lakhrissi is a French visual artist, poet and writer, who develops text and visual content aiming to challenge language and reflect upon the codification of affect through fiction. His work has been exhibited at institutions such as Palais de Tokyo, Fondation Gulbenkian, Fondation Lafayette Anticipations, Bétonsalon and DOC ! and La Gaité Lyrique in Paris, and Artexte, McGill University and Concordia University in Montréal, as well as Vilnius’ CAC, Confort Moderne in Poitiers, Newcastle’s Circa Projects and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Lakhrissi has been artist-in-res­i­dence at Noisy-le-Sec’s La Galerie, Centre d’Art Contemporain, where he opened his first solo show in February 2019.
