Ksti Hu
Ksti Hu is a north Russian-born, Berlin-based graphic designer and visual artist. After moving to Germany at 18 years old, she started to learn a new tongue. This intense linguistic experience would influence her future works and prompted Hu to create the open research project “Rude”, which is focused on experimenting with language, typography and identity.
Rude is constantly questioning the objective of linguistic, visual, and design conventions. It tries to grasp how communication shapes our personality and influences the way we think. Hu is currently traveling the world with visual exhibitions, open lectures and performances, exploring new mediums and approaches in graphic design, while demonstrating that her work is free of any framework.
