The Fertile Crescent is a London-based band founded by Oxhy and Susu Laroche, which brings their respective musical catalogs of industrial pop and lo-fi noise together in a contemporary post-punk made up of darkwave and avant-folk elements. The project distills their distinctive individual musical universes into folkloric anthems reminiscent of ancient time zones and mystic drone metal.

Evocative of both the historical region in the Middle East known as “the cradle of civilization” and the tradition of harvesting crops by the lunar cycle, the duo is united by their shared interest in mankind’s initial defining centuries. Recent releases include 6G, released via Milan’s Haunter Records in 2021, and Strategy of Two Heavens, which was dropped on Oxhy’s own Xquisite Releases label in 2022. They are joined by drummer Billy Howard Price.
