Or:la is a Derry-born, Liverpool-based producer and DJ whose chameleonic approach to her sets has an intangible emphasis on melody, rhythm, and texture. Also known as Orlagh Dooley, she has consistently strived to escape categorization, running DIY parties in abandoned shops whilst studying, running the former Deep Sea Frequency and recent Céad labels, and organizing queer-focused event series “La Potion,” at such venues as MOT, The Cause, and Meraki.

Dooley has released their “UK Lonely” EP on Berlin-based label Hotflush Recordings in 2017 and their debut album Trusting Theta via London’s fabric Originals, while collaborating on a range of remixes for the likes of David Holmes/Killing Eve's Unloved band and labels like Spray and Woozy. An integral part of the Liverpool clubbing scene as a promoter and community builder, the artist has stayed true to her explorative propensity as a testament to her ability to fluidly traverse tempos and energies.
