Firpal is a London-based designer, illustrator, and art director whose work draws on South Asian aesthetic systems to explore non-Western metaphysics, synthetic consciousness, non-linearity, and cybernetic poetics. Invoking compositional frameworks such as Kalighat painting, Thangka iconography, and Mughal miniature art, their plush, chimeric Indo-futurist scenescapes reinterpret traditional visual languages in contemporary digital form.
Firpal's clients span fashion, contemporary art, and cultural institutions, including Hugo Boss, Frieze, ICA, Clair Barrow, GAF, SET, Drool, Nightslugs, Skims, and Baffler. They have exhibited internationally in London, Brussels, Chicago, Baltimore, and Bilbao, and presented at Venice Biennale as part of Paul Maheke, Ariel Efraim Ashbel, and Nkisi's Sènsa performance in 2019.
