Hengameh Yaghoobifarah is a freelance journalist, columnist, editor, speaker and DJ. With a background in media studies, cultural studies and Scandinavian studies, they examine topics like popular culture, fashion, body politics, subversive femininities, internet phenomenons and hegemonial gazes from a queer feminist perspective. Their texts are mostly published in German and Austrian publications such as Missy Magazine, taz. die tageszeitung, an.schläge and Spex. They are based in Berlin.
