Anna Willert

Anna Willert is a Berlin-based physician who is currently completing her education as a board certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist, after finishing her medical degree in 2015. Apart from her work as a clinical doctor, she is also in the process of completing her thesis on the neural basis of social cognition in Bipolar Disorder at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. During her studies in Cologne, Berlin, Montréal and London, Willert was fascinated by neuroscientific research and its impact on and relevance to various aspects of our social and cultural society. Her main interest, regarding both theoretical and practical aspects of her work, is an interdisciplinary approach combining neuroscience, social sciences and the arts to gain further insight into the function and dysfunction of our mind and brain.
