Anna Stiede

Political scientist Anna Stiede, lives and works in Berlin as an educator and Italian-German translator. Her interest lies in the history of social movements, feminist economic criticism and digital communication, while focussing on the role of wage labour and (self)-care with them. Stiede is interested in not just exploring the deep social and cultural revolution of digitization in a theoretical way but by looking into everyday life experiences. She questions the connections between political economic changes and subjective economics, because capitalism can not just be understood cognitive, but also mental and bodily. To explore this field of tension, she is currently curating workshops based on physical practice about self-care in times of smart technology.
