WangNewOne was born in Shanghai, where she also currently lives and works. Her passion for animation and game culture inspired her to engage in the digital arts, which have in turn exerted great influence on her visual aesthetics and artistic expression. Newone taught herself to master the art of 3D modeling and rendering. Although she has a professional background in traditional Chinese painting, she has distanced herself from this more formal “art world,” finding herself more in tune with the virtual worlds that have inspired her digital artworks. WangNewOne developed the new animation project 英雄无色 A BETTER NOW for 3hd Festival in collaboration with Chinese producer Snackuo.
